Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy explains how Gosai ("Gosai", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit gosai.ai or get in touch with us, and sets out your rights under UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Gosai is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@gosai.ai or through our contact page.
What personal data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways:
- Information you give us directly. When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your full name, work email address, company name, phone number, the service you're interested in, your message, and your preferred contact method. Fields marked as optional are not required to submit an enquiry.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and site-reliability purposes. This website does not currently use non-essential cookies, analytics, or third-party advertising or tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
How we use your data and our legal basis
We only use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss the technology services you've asked us about. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and is in our legitimate interest in operating our business (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of our website, which is in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
- To comply with our legal obligations, where applicable (Article 6(1)(c) UK GDPR).
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our website and respond to enquiries, for example email delivery or website hosting providers. These providers only process your data on our instructions and under contractual obligations to keep it secure and confidential.
We may also disclose personal data if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gosai, our users, or others.
International data transfers
We aim to keep personal data within the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) wherever possible. If we ever need to use a service provider based outside the UK/EEA, we will make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations, as required by UK GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, generally no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer retention period is needed to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements.
How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances.
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data, in certain circumstances.
- Ask us to move your data to another organisation (data portability).
- Object to us processing your data where we rely on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@gosai.ai. We will respond within one month, as required by law. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern directly first.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do.
